One Big Dream For the Future
The future is still far away but for this primary school student it's closer than you think. Tessa is a pupil at Koputaroa School, a little country school on your way to Foxton. She has got her whole future planned out. She would like to pursue a career in Architecture but if that doesn't work out she would like to become an Author. She wants to go to Wellington University to study. Before she begins to practice as an Architect she has a dream of travelling the world with her best friend Leah. They will start by exploring New Zealand then work their way around the world. She can't wait to see the scenes of Italy. She will be a part time artist and would like to share her art with the world. She dreams of being an inspirational person to those she meets. She wishes to inspire them to follow their dreams and work hard to achieve them. She dreams of having 2 - 4 children and having a nice husband who has a good job and who knows how to take good care of children. She would like to experience a world where most people are nice to each other and where we all just work together to make our world a better place. '' You see now with the government why don't they just work together to make our country better than it already is instead of fighting and making their people suffer for their consequences.'' she says. She is scared that she won't be able to experience the world because it might not be there when she goes to travel; she is scared that we will all go into war again and the treasures of the world will be ruined. It was great to meet such an enthusiastic young lady who has dreams, knows what she wants and how she intends to get them. Good luck Tessa I,m sure we will be hearing about you in the future.
