National Young Leaders Day

During June, four of our class attended the National Young Leaders Day in Palmerston North and had the fabulous opportunity to meet Billy Graham, Cam Calkoen, Charlie Laumatia and Sam Johnson.  They were also treated to a performance by Jamie McDell.

Here are a few photos with Billy Graham......

Bluelight P.C.T. Competition Winners!!!!!

Our team of 4 students has taken out first place in the Bluelight P.C.T. competition run by the Police.  Our team consisted of Jenna, Nikia, Sam and Alex.

They had to push a trailer past a set of cones, lift a heavy tyre out of the trailer and carry it to a mat, run around a 200m course, balance on a balance beam, jump over a mat that represented a ditch, crawl under two sets of hurdles, jump through a window, climb over a wall, drag a 74kg dummy several metres, climb over a high fence and then sprint to the end - finishing as a team!!!

They completed the challenge in 2 minutes, 52 seconds and 59 hundredths of a second!!!!!
